Three oil paintings by Walter Lee have been selected into the Laguna Beach City Hall “From Dawn to Dusk” Juried Exhibition. Accepted artwork will be showcased at the City Hall. Exhibit dates are from July 1st, 2019 to September 20th, 2019.
The selected paintings include Sycamore Sunset (9x12), Night Canopy (9x12), and Late Night Lounge (11x14). The paintings are available for sale, and the prices range from $600 to $1,000.

Artist reception will be held at 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm on Sunday August 18th. Come and mingle with many dedicated artists in the region.
Public opening hours are between 12 pm to 4 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.
Laguna Plein Air Painters Association’s 13th Annual “Less is More” Juried Art Show is now showing at Forest & Ocean Gallery on 480 Ocean Avenue, Laguna Beach.

This extraordinary preview reception night will be held at the Laguna Art-A-Fair grounds on June 26th 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Come and mingle with all the exhibiting artists, and enjoy all the artwork in about 120 booths.
All the exhibitors and their invited guests are cordially welcome to the show. Each booth would offer snacks and beverages for visitors.
Invited guests are required to have admission tickets.
Walter’s two paint-out oil paintings were selected into the Grand Paint Out of Old Towne Orange which was sponsored by Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) and Chapman University.
The accepted artwork of 38 pieces will be showcased at Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University is located across the street from Ruby Restaurant and the Orange Metrolink Station at 167 N. Atchison Street, Old Towne Orange. The parking building is located at 130 N. Lemon Street, Lemon and Maple, one block east of the museum.
Admission and parking are all free.
The reception will also be held on Saturday night June 8th 2019, between 4 p.m. and 6 p.,m.. His artwork will also be listed on Dailybrushworks.com.
Walter Lee’s artwork titled “Lobster Daydream” has been selected for the City of Brea Art Gallery’s 34th Annual Made in California Juried Exhibition on view from May 4th through June 28th 2019.
Free opening reception will be held in the gallery on Saturday, May 4th 2019 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Walter Lee’s prize winning original oil painting, “Backwater Reflection”was invited by the City of Whittier Cultural Arts Commission and presented at Parnell Park Community Center Lobby during the five-week period in March and April 2019.
His prize winning artwork was earlier awarded the second place oil painting category in the 59th Annual Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts in La Habra Heights in February 22, 23 and 24, 2019.
Opening hours are on Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The reception is scheduled on March 27, 2019 at 5 p.m. at Parnell Park. A welcome and light reception is to begin at 5:30 p.m.
