The City of Whittier invited all the winners of the 59th Annual Hillcrest Festival of Fine Arts (held on February 22, 23 and 24th 2019) to Hillcrest Group Exhibit 2019.
Walter Lee had won the second place in oil painting category in the Hillcrest Festival and invited to the winners group show. His award winning artwork is exhibited Monday March 4, 2019 through Friday April 12, 2019 in the Parnell Park Community and Senior Center lobby.
The lobby is open to the public, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 9 pm and on Saturdays from 8 am to 4 pm.
The reception will be held on Wednesday evening, March 27th 2019 at 5 pm at Parnell Park.

We are once again pleased to announce that Walter Lee was accepted into LPAPA’s 15th Annual Best of Plein Air Juried Art Show.
Walter Lee’s two oil paintings titled “Marine Lift” and “Catch of the Day” (alternate) were accepted into the show and will be displayed at Forest & Ocean Gallery (480 Ocean Ave., Laguna Beach).
Exhibit Dates: March 11th through March 25th, 2019
Gallery Reception: Saturday March 16th (5-7pm; Award 6pm)

We are pleased to inform you that Walter’s oil paintings juried in for Laguna Art-A-Fair 2019 received an acceptable score. That means there will be Walter’s own painting booth space to exhibit his works in the 2019 show. Following is the Summer Festival Information:

Walter Lee recently attended the LPAPA’s annual Holiday Party. Among those in attendance were the Board of Directors and LPAPA’s members. At the gathering Walter met with staffs and fellow painters Toni Kellenberg, Rosemary Swimm, Lynn Gertenbach, Anthony Salvo, Val Carson, and Debra Huse and other friends.
We are pleased and proud to announce that Walter Lee’s submissions to the Laguna Festival of Arts has passed the digital jurying process. He is scheduled for the physical jurying process in January 2019 where he will present three (3) separate pieces of his art work to a live judge panel.
